Early stimulation workshops - French and English for 3-5 year olds:

These form the cornerstone of the intervention C.E.S.A.M.E. offers for the community.
Led by certified caregivers, these group workshops (8 children per group, 1/2 day per week for 3 sessions) provide children in need of developing an overall stimulation to improve motor skills, intellectual, socio-emotional and relational.
This is a significant boost before school integration, a burst of esteem for children and fresh air for parents.

Workshops "Hurray for discipline":

Offered to parents, these group workshops offers the to exchange and to learn about domestic discipline. The main themes are the rules, consequences, the development of autonomy, conflict resolution, self-esteem, communication and expression of feelings.
Very popular, these workshops are an excellent complement to stimulation workshops, promoting the mental health of the entire family.

Home Visits:

This service aims to provide families with a specialized support and guidance to the most appropriate resources for their needs. Often referred as a first response by the specialists in the health networks or community when developmental difficulties are diagnosed. C.E.S.A.M.E. thus offers an ear and advice of utmost importance for parents, often overwhelmed by difficulties.

Daycare support

In order to support childcare’s educators and to help them maximize their intervention according to the children’s needs, C.E.S.A.M.E developed the program «Penser différemment pour intervenir efficacement», offered to childcare’s educators working with children aged 0-5 years old. This formation is mainly based on concrete interventions to set up daily as well as participants’ exchanges instead of theoretical presentations.

DAD's group:

The group aims to offer activities for fathers currently using our services for their children and those who used to. Each month, the educator plan an activity such as hockey, soccer and even going sliding in winter.

For some activities, children are welcomed to join, but some others are for fathers only.

Homework Support

This project in partnership with Carrefour Périnaissance and La petite Maison de Pointe-Calumet intends to help children through homework’s support in an environment other than home, to support families and reduce conflicts related to this period.

Our educators make sure to offer a stimulating and supervised environment to children, to encourage their learnings.

Our preventive services in mental health help
increase the chances of success in children.

Our services allow them to experience success,
increase their self-esteem and to learn how to have healthy communications and socializing.
